Comments Sir, A very interesting site. I like the photo's of the planes. I have a question I hope that someone can answer. Did your group have different color bands that were painted around the airplane? The reason I ask is that I picked up a A2 flight jacket with a painting of a B24 with a yellow band and red prop spinners. I'm trying to find the group and squadron it came from. Your group is the only one that I found that has that type of marking. Any information would be of great help. If need be I can send an email with a photo of the back so that it can be viewed. I read what I can about the 15th and the 8th AF. I have a lot of unit histories where I get a lot of information from. I am very interested in the Air Force history of WW2. Thank you for your time. Best Regards, Bill
