I'm thrilled to see the crew photo with George Garoian. I worked with George at Raytheon, Waltham, MA around 1957 while a co-op student attending Northeastern U. George was best man for my 1st Cousin, Ed Aaronian of Cambridge, MA. Ed's brother, Tzolag, a Radio Operator died on 19 Feb 1945 while with the 389th BG, 565th BS. His parachute failed when the crew had to bail over Sevelen, Germany. George D. Kasparian

My father is currently visiting and we were looking at your website. His brother (my uncle) Merrill McKinley, flew with the 720th squadron and was shot down on his first mission on March 24, 1944, over the Adriatic Sea. We never heard any final details. We would love to know any information as to what might have happened to him and his crew. My father was 12 at the time, and was very close to his older brother Merrill. Any information would be appreciated. Sincerely, Rick McKinley

I am the son of AAF Capt. Walter Burton Keeble. On December 24, 1942 Lt. Keeble was assigned as an assistant S-2 officer in Photo Interpretation for the 445 Bomb Squadron of the 321st Bomb Group. On May 26, 1943, Lt. Keeble was assigned to A-2 Photo Interpretation for the 47th Wing of the 15th Air Force. He was promoted to Captain in December, 1943. Captain Keeble was killed early in the morning of July 9, 1944, while enroute to retrieve fresh film from a bombing raid. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who can help me get information about my father. Burton Keeble (mairez@yahoo.com)

My Uncle (Roger Goodson) was in the 450th BG, 721st Squadron, ball turret gunner. Despite being in Stalag Luft 3 for over a year, severely wounded, he is still alive and well at 90 years old. He hasn't made the last couple of reunions due to a small stroke and transportation issues. Any BG/squadron mates are welcome to contact me, and I can get you in touch with him. Thanks for all you folks did, and are still doing!!

Several years ago I visited the grave of my uncle Sgt. Henry G. Klunk in Anzio Italy. He was with the 721st Division, on the Augusta P. My visit to his grave was an overwhelming experience for me. There is no greater love than this--to lay down one's life for a friend. If you knew my uncle please do drop me a line. With much gratitude. Dave

We had our reunion in Valley Forge. Thanks to all who came. We hope you enjoyed yourselves. This past year we honored 49 heros who went West. We heard of others with late information so they will be honored and remembered this year in Reno. A 2006 reunion is planned for September-with dates and hotel to be confirmed. My name is Pete Minix, and my hobby for the last 7 years, has been collecting and compiling World War II veteran histories. I have been very fortunate to have interviewed, either by snail mail, e-mail or in-person I currently have over 160+ World War II veterans, from all branches, in my private library. None of this information is given out or published for a monetary gain. I have always been interested in World War II for many years and it is just my way of keeping their memories and stories alive For every World War 2 veteran we loose a piece of history is gone. If you wish to share this information with me, I would greatly appreciate it. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Peter D. Minix P.S.: I am a former sergeant, weapons platoon, USMC, for 5 years.
