My father, William C Kasdorf, asked me to visit this site for him. He doesn't have a computer. I will print out some pages and send them to him. Your site is incredible. It is giving me the chance to learn about a side of my father he doesn't talk much about.

My husband, Paul M. Stevens, was Chaplain for the 450th. Thank you for including the story, "A Chaplain's Tale" and the pictures of him conducting worship in Manduria. I believe those pictures were taken on an Easter Sunday. Though he was the Protestant Chaplain, he also conducted worship services for those of the Jewish faith in the 450th Bomg Broup. He enjoyed attending the 450th reunions and loved the 450th.

First THANK YOU for all your sacrafices. I am trying to locate information on my uncle SSGT Vito A. Berardi assigned to the 722 Squadron as a nose turret gunner on the Gallopin Ghost 77, missing over Germany February 22, 1944. Of the five brothers in the European campaign, two were KIA. One surviving uncle and I am desperately trying to put together a family biography to pass on to the younger generation of the family as a keep sake. I would greatly appreciate any information you can share. God Bless...

My dad is/was Hollis Lunt, he passed away from heart failure in 9/1980. Does anyone have information on his military service? Unfortunately we sometimes don't have the opportunity to get information from those that can best share it while they are here with us on earth.I remember as a child going to GA, probably around 1963-65 to see the Garretts. While not agreat trip for me, I was sick most of the time, I know my dad enjoyed it. Thanks for all you have done and sacraficed for this country.

I can’t thank the men and women of WWII Enough. Ever since I attended the National WWII Memorial dedication in 2004, and met so many WWII veterans, I have been collecting stories from WWII veterans. During this time I have also made a video in honor of all who served during WWII. The video showcases different WWII Museums and Memorials and is set to some big band and WWII era songs. The hopes of this video are not only to thank each of you, but to also present a couple of places you may not have had the chance to visit yet, while listening to some wonderful music. This video is FREE, you pay nothing, however I would appreciate any written stories or copied pictures anyone would like to share. Whether it is one page or 300 pages, anything at all would be wonderful, and I will pay for the postage. Email: Scott@theramseys.org Thank you Please contact me with any questions. The grandfather of my husband was SSG. Walter Kostro of 722nd. His plane was the original "Termite Chaser". I recently did an essay on him in college history. Your website is very informative. God Bless all those who served and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

God bless all of you for your service to our country. My father is Lee L. (Gus) Wilder, and he is living in Grangerland, Texas. I have learned so much from your site - Dad would never talk about his experience in the war. My son is a US Marine - I know he will make us as proud as your service has to our country.

Thanks to everyone who put this website together. Carl E Mulhollan was my granddaddy. If anyone would like to share a story or two about him and the crew, I would love to listen. My grandfather was involved in a car accident and died in the late 80's. His wife is alive and well. Can't wait to tell her about this site. Thanks Again, Beth Mulhollan Gray

I am interesting in finding anything out about SSgt. Leslie H. Stockdale. I have many of his military items purchased at an estate sale that I beleive to be of great historical significance. Many pictures, medals, a voice recording, etc. Enough for a short do #$@%! I think!

My dad was SSgt William R. Campbell. It's wonderful to see the wedding picture of him and my mother on your site, plus the picture of him with his crew. They have both passed on now; I miss them very much.
