Group (H), 15th Air Force in Manduria, Italy in WWII.
During the period from February 1944 to April 1945 he flew a total of 7 combat missions
and logged 55 combat hours in B-24 aircraft.
He retired from the US Air Force with the rank of Colonel in November 1970.
